I don't think there was a conspiracy, however, I think that on balance the referees' decisions favoured Queensland and it showed on the scoreboard. This is why no one is whinging about the Ben Creagh try.



Interesting that a video referee can't overrule a head referee on a forward pass, but he can overrule a touch judge who invariably is in a better position to make the call.



Ultimately, I felt that Queensland played better. They were a man down for most of the match. The wing with Lyon and McManus was suspect, Campese was let down I expected and Luke O'Donnell has a thing or two to learn about ball security. I don't need to mention Gidley as I'm sure everyone agrees he was abysmal.

The better team won. They had their bench reduced because of Hodges' injury and the Blues could not take advantage of it. If people want to whinge, have a go at Bellamy.
