This series is all about pride...and my pride will not allow me to say Queensland...lol.It's going to be a tough series I think. Injuries and the like always take their toll. However the blues have adequate replacements for the players that are out or injured.I think Gower will do the job at Half Back. He shouldn't be under estimated, he knows what it will take. As do all the players. I think it will be close, but NSW will win the series this year

I'm a Queenslander, but can't see them winning the first game.

1. Origin matches are won in the forwards, and Mason and co will makes plenty of space for the Blues backs to run amok

2. Queensland has 2 non-specialists on the wing

NSW will. Queensland rely on "passion" and commitment to get them though big games like this. NSW have the players to win though. Both side are passionate - that's not enough these days.

I am a Blues fan and I am really worried this year. There are some really big names NOT playing this year...Johnsie, Kennedy. Players like Gasnier and Cooper are injured and may not play. For the first series in years we do not have a dominant half back.



As for queensland, as usual you have your tight knit group of 7 Broncos playing. They are going to be tough to beat.
