Enough with this Ref bashing and talk about Hayne...

That was a great game!
I felt the Tigers deserved the win but went down 24-22 with a late try.
Mullaney is a great young talent, as well as Kelly from the Storm and their fullback as well. Also that big number 8 for the Tigers, can't remember his name but he has the blonde stripe in his hair...he had a huge game too.
Although the defensive efforts of teams in the NYC has been a bit suspect over the last 2 years you can't deny its exciting attacking footy.

I think the Toyota Cup is a great success and feeder for the NRL.

Yeah! That was a heaps good game- when Tigers took the lead, Storm looked done for, but it was exciting to see them come back and get that late try. The Tigers' fullback is a weapon, his linebreaks were amazing. A really good game- it wasnt a blowout like every other NYC game.

But how stupid did it look when the siren went off, everyone came on the field & Storm were crying and jumping and celebrating... than they all had to go off just for the penalty where they just kicked it straight out anyway... lol

I really enjoyed the game and the comments before the GF were that we hoped the main game would be as exciting. Some great young players coming through - can only be good for the NRL comp.

Bye and good luck Ranga. BTW why are you leaving us?

I like that Andrew Fifita kid. He kept on getting 10-20 metres every hit up. If Tigers keep him, he's gonna be a gun.

Oh by the way Eels to Win, there is no Video Ref in Toyota Cup, they, have in-goal judges.

And I'm also answering this question to announce that I'm gonna leave Y!A. Cya guys.

Oh, I'm leavin because I started to get reported heaps and I'm about to get banned, so yeah :/

Deal: I got one friend. I'm sayin bye to him.

Yep the Tigers had it in the bag. That Storm player loved scoring tries didn't he? It was a pretty quick game. It lived up to expectations from the whole year of big scores.

That was a massive blunder lol But if you watched the whole game you would know that he played brilliantly for the remainder of the match after his misfourtune. No mistakes at all throughout whole game. Alot of players would have been to rattled by such a mistake but this guy put his head down and kept going, sign of a Great player.

Finally a question not complaining about something!

Yeah solid game i viewed yesterday, The only thing i find annoying is the defense in those games..how many times did the lead change? 4-5?

It's a good comp and is great for players of the future

@ranga..nobody likes you anyway champ

Tigers deserved to win. That last 'try' from Storm was clearly dropped. Are the refs eyes painted on? Didn't even go to the Video Ref.

melbournes last try was dodgy! we were robbed of a premiership! the reffing was sh*t! lol nah i wont be a sore loser :) both teams played great, a joy to watch. thats what is so great about the toyota cup. its exciting to watch because not much defence is played. the average scoreline is about 42-36. yesterdays game was considered as low scoring! i love darren nicholls and jayke mullany (both wests tigers), can't wait to see them play in the nrl.

EDIT: Eels to win, they don't use the video ref in the toyota cup.

imo the tigers should have won as melbournes last try was not touched by a storm player but ye it was a pretty good game

Shame the Tigers lost, they have some awesome players.

Andrew Fafita the prop is a gun, Mullaney is too, they should make the step up next year.

How they awarded Melbourne's final try confuses me... he didn't even touch the ball.

Yeah very good. Melbourne Storm and Melbourne Storm are on fire !!! Both won the Grandfinals in their age group.

In this day and age, forcing the ball with the torso is considered a try since there is downward pressure, so there should be no qualms about the Storm's last try.

Yeah unlucky to our boys. Hoping Mullaney wears our no.1 jersey next year with Gallant leaving and all...
