I was born in VIC but moved to QLD when I was a kid and I still live there today. I consider myself a Queenslander as I have lived here for almost my whole life. Go the Maroons!

3. Family loyalty: As I said before, this past year was my 1st watching Rugby League. EVERY1 in my family are QLD supporters! I had a rough time cheering on QLD this year when my favorite player was in a NSW Jersey.The family joke was that he was like Jesus to us. He is dead for 3 games a year, and then he is resurrected when Origin is over! LMAO I guess I have to understand the fact that this really is a "brother vs. brother, mate against mate" game! Maybe this season I'll understand that!

3. I made a decision to support Knights players wherever they play. How could I sit there and celebrate a QLD win when Newcastle players are devastated, I have to feel whatever they feel lol. I'm as passionate about the Blues as any other team, I've grown up loving them and hating the Maroons. I cop it alot from mates but it doesn't bother me, I'll never stop supporting NSW. But I hate it when NSW people bag out QLD in general, that doesn't sit well with me. I'm a Blues supporter but I'm still a Queenslander and I love where I live, I love the people here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. So as long as rants and chants stay on Origin I'll argue until I go hoarse that NSW are the better team, but like I said when it comes to states in general, QLD is the greatest place in the world.

3. I follow QLD because I was born and bred and even if I was not born in QLD I would follow the Maroons. The Maroons have always had the best practice when it comes to Origin, bring them in and not let them go no matter what happens. Something the Blues can't seem to understand!

A good example would be Hodges when he played his first origin and he made those 2 horrendus passes in goal, if he was a Blue the selectors would have taken him out the back and shot him in the head. But he has become a part of the most successful side in Origin history.

Then look at Campese who is brought in to the Blues and has 1 quiet game and may never be heard from again. What may of happened if the halves pairing of the Blues was allowed a full series to gel? When you look at the history of the Blues side the years they make no changes to the halves they win and all of the whitewashes have come when they make no changes to the halves pairing.

I couldn't go through all of those changes each year and to see players like Gallen getting nods over true form players. I watch my best mate go through it every year and even he has begun to waver in his support... bring on 5 straight!

I support Queensland. I was born in Victoria. I moved to Queensland at a young age, and also lived in New South Wales along the way. I found New South Wales was a very arrogant state, and full of hate for everybody else. I currently live in Queensland, and will forever. To hell with the Cockroaches!!!!!!!!!!
